Develop a digital strategy for the SCHN, incorporating the new Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre (CCCC) with a focus on advanced ‘omics’ medicine.

Our Approach

The Checkley Strategic Consulting Team worked with the SCHN Executive to understand the organisations’ digital requirements as part of their major two site redevelopment program (Westmead and Randwick campuses).

We then conducted over 90 stakeholder interviews across the Hospital Network, the Research Institutes and the Universities of NSW and Sydney to gain a detailed understanding of the future digital needs of the organisation and to inform the gap analysis and Strategic Digital Roadmaps. 


  • We defined the Digital Strategy Framework along with a suite of recommended digital initiatives for our client to support their ongoing leadership position in paediatric care.
  • We then defined the ICT Roadmaps for the hospital redevelopments and the CCCC which included an assessment of digital requirements, definition of priority areas and key ICT milestones.
