Silvia Fazekas

Silvia is a health informatician with more than 15 years’ experience as a project and change manager in the Australian health sector. She has led the implementation of electronic medical record (EMR) and electronic medication management (eMM) solutions for several clients using a variety of EMR systems, including Cerner Millennium.

She was the inaugural eMM Project Manager for South Eastern Sydney LHD which was one of the four lead sites for the statewide eMM Program and later served as the Change Manager for the wider eMM deployment to all the facilities across the LHD. Recently Silvia consulted to the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network (SCHN) where she led change management for the Network EMR integration and eMM projects.

Silvia is currently working with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians as a Project Manager leading the project to deliver COVID-19 related changes to the Divisional Clinical Exams for the 2020 and 2021 cohorts of Basic Trainees.

Silvia is an excellent communicator with extensive experience in clinical engagement and devising and driving complex change projects within healthcare. Silvia holds a Bachelor of Science, Health Information Science from the University of Victoria in Canada and a Diploma of Project Management (PMBoK) from the University of New England Partnership, Sydney.
